We also smooth the path for unmarried couples living together regarding separation, pre-nuptial agreements and Trust Deeds, and advise on all proceedings relating to children, including residence, contact, parental responsibility, paternity disputes, abduction, adoption and international applications to live outside of the jurisdiction.
At Watson Burton LLP, as a full-service firm, we are uniquely advantaged in that issues arising from a client?s circumstances can be resolved ?in-house? by involving personnel from other departments including taxation consultants and business advisors as well as employment solicitors.
The unit has experience in all of the principal family courts including The Court of Appeal, The High Court, The County Court and The Family Proceedings Court. Experience includes matters involving a foreign element both in terms of finance and children liaising with and instructing foreign lawyers. The unit also has experience in dealing with matters involving The Official Solicitor.

The practice was first 'built up' in the Victorian era, largely by eminent lawyer and philanthropist, Robert Spence Watson.
