Name:
Dickinson Parker Hill - Ormskirk Solicitors for Divorce & Family
Description: We at Dickinson Parker Hill are proud of our firm and the contribution that it has made to the community and people of the West Lancashire area.
We are probably the oldest firm of Solicitors in the area, and can trace our origins back to the early 1800's. We truly are a family firm: up until April 1999 our name was Dickinson Parker Hill & Son - the Mr Hill who retired as a partner then was the great great grandson of the original Mr Hill.
We have been putting our clients interests first for many years, and it is our aim to continue to do that for many more.
We also try to do our bit for the community as a whole.
We recognize that this is one of the most sensitive areas of law, when emotions are fraught, life is at its most difficult, and clear sensible guidance is needed.
We believe that every client is entitled to the best advice for the particular circumstances, and to have that advice given as quickly as possible. To that end we offer a free half hour interview, and also Legal Aid if you qualify financially.
While we would not profess to be miracle workers, there is much that a specialized Family Lawyer can accomplish at these difficult times, both to assist in short term help, and to achieve long term solutions.
Our Family Partner, Alexandra Allan, is a Member of the Family Law Panel, a body set up by the Law Society to recognize experienced Family Lawyers.
She is also a member of the Solicitors Family Law Association, which tries to make family disputes as unacrimonious as is possible. We will of course 'fight your corner', and the aim is to find a just and fair solution to your problem, as quickly and as painlessly as is possible in all the circumstances of your individual situation.
We have a family department dedicated to advising in a number of specified areas.
Divorce and Separation.
Consequential Money matters arising from a family breakdown, be that child maintenance or sorting out the wider picture.
Child care, because of a breakdown of the family, dealing with both residence and contact issues.
Child care as a result of the Local Authority intervening in a family's situation.
Domestic violence and injunctions.
