Charmaine Parrish is a long standing member of the Solicitors Family Law Association newly named Resolution which was established in 1982 and has one of its main objectives the encouragement of sensitive, efficient and economic handling by its member of family issues.

Charmaine Parrish is a Resolution trained Family Mediator, Resolution Mediators are all practising lawyers, who have undergone an extensive mediation training programme and are subject to regulation by Resolution. They work to a Code of Practice which follows internationally excepted principles and are also regulated in their mediation practice by the Law Society.

Mediation is an effective way for couples to make the best arrangements for themselves and their children.

We work with couples so that they can explore the options for resolving all issues arising from divorce and separation such as differences concerning children, and financial issues such as maintenance, the division of capital and pensions.

Mediation is a cost effective way of avoiding an expensive Court room battle. It helps to lower the temperature leading to improved co-operation within the family both in the short term and into the future.

Mediation is at our office in Olney. We charge by the session, each of which lasts between one and two hours. The mediation process usually takes between four and six sessions although, of course, each case is different.
